Mini bananas are grown in Central and South America and taste similar to the popular Cavendish cultivar but have a sweeter honey-like taste and much creamier texture. They are predominantly eaten fresh whole or sliced for use in fruit salads. They can also be baked or flambeed with brown sugar, brandy or rum.
